Det samme gjelder for kvalitetskontroller, som ogs\u00e5 kan bestilles i LIMS og lagres og overv\u00e5kes i form av kontrollkort. LIMS kan v\u00e6re koblet opp mot mange forskjellige instrumenter, og bidrar til \u00e5 samle all dataen p\u00e5 ett sted. I tillegg kan det anses som et knutepunkt som kobler sammen instrumenter, bruker og databaser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>OBS!  Ordet &laquo;LIS&raquo; (Laboratory Information System) brukes ogs\u00e5 ofte for \u00e5 beskrive administrasjonssystemet p\u00e5 laboratoriet, men i denne oppl\u00e6ringsressursen har vi valgt \u00e5 bruke &laquo;LIMS&raquo;.
